Keeping Traditions Alive In Indian Land

Marco Polo Is Alive In Indian Land!

Marco Polo may have been among the first to share his country’s culture with outsiders.

Here in Indian Land, this tradition continues thanks to many residents with Italian roots. As growth in the community expands, people are finding new ways to connect and embrace their heritage. Italians love life and love to get together, but usually over a big meal with wine, followed by desserts.

They’re also very welcoming.

We caught up with Benito Fusco, a culinary leader who believes in using the finest ingredients for his authentic Neapolitan recipes.

A local resident since 2011, Benito hails from the birthplace of pizza, Naples Italy. Those who have eaten in Benito’s Cucina say, “Bellissimo! Now that’s Italian.” The night we stopped in, Fusco & friends were sipping on apple pie liquor, nibbling on tasty desserts, & reminiscing about fun times.
